Welcome to the Club

There is no fee to join any of the Yao Family Wines Wine Club offerings and you may join now, enjoy your Club benefits and not be charged until the next Wine Club Release. All Club shipments are automatically discounted. New members will be asked to place an order to activate their membership.  The order may be the previous Wine Club shipment or an order of their choice. 

Club Communications

We correspond with our club members primarily via email. For each club release we send an email announcement. Important club news will be included in this email, such as the shipping dates, when charges will occur and deadlines to make any changes to the upcoming Wine Club shipment. Throughout the year we will email you about special wine releases, club exclusive offers and allocations, special events and other exciting news. You may respond directly to these emails; we make every effort to get back to you within 48 hours.  Club members should promptly notify us of changes to their accounts: including changes in email address, telephone numbers or shipping address


UPS is our default shipper.  FedEx and GSO are also shipping options but must be specifically requested prior to payment being process for any club shipment.  Wine Club members receive flat rate shipping according to the Wine Club they are a part of.  Please contact us before we process payment if you have any issues with the shipping. Rates include proper packing, adult signature fee, area surcharge, residential charge and fuel surcharge. Insurance included up to $100.

Because an adult signature is required by law upon delivery we recommend delivery to a business address rather than home addresses. We cannot deliver to a PO Box address.

All cancellations and address changes must be received at least 1 week prior to the scheduled payment processing date in order to be applied to the upcoming shipment. Important: you may be responsible for additional shipping charges for corrections if we are not notified at last 1 week prior to the scheduled payment processing date. If your Club shipment is returned for any reason, the fee to reship would be the full UPS rate. If there has been some sort of error with delivery, we will be happy to work with you to resolve it.

Charges and Corrections

Your card on file is charged 7 days prior to the scheduled shipment. Club charges will include the retail value of your shipment, minus your member discount, plus any applicable tax and shipping charges. We hand pack all Club Sets and use UPS Ground for all shipping. Charges will vary with each shipment as they are based on the specific wines that are being shipped.

Temperature Holds

To protect the wine we do not ship during periods of extreme high or low temperatures, or when we feel there is a high risk of spoilage. During the hottest and coldest times of the year, we may not ship at all to certain locations. While we make every effort to ensure your wine arrives safely and in excellent condition, we cannot control what happens to your shipment in transit. If you feel you have received a damaged bottle, please contact us immediately. Wine is guaranteed when signed for on a first delivery attempt. Delayed receipt of shipments becomes the responsibility of the member.

Suspending or Cancelling

All Yao Family Wines Club Memberships are perpetual memberships until canceled. You may cancel at any time by notifying us at (707) 968-5874, or emailing concierge@yaofamilywines.com. Members may suspend their membership, or skip one shipment per calendar year. Customers who cancel their club membership prior to receiving at least two club shipments in a calendar year will be responsible for reimbursing Yao Family Wines for discounts received as wine club members (this includes any applicable tasting fees) and they will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. If a club shipment has been shipped before your notice to us to cancel, you will be responsible to pay for that final shipment.
